Cabbage Compress Materials Needed to do so:

Organic cabbage (preferably red)
Aluminium foil
Rolling pin/wine bottle/meat hammer
Gauze or Bandage

Proper Instructions:

1. Peel the outer layer of the cabbage leaf and clean it by putting it in the flowing water and wash it thoroughly.  Dry it and cut out the hard stem. Place it on a counter, and use a rolling pin to bruise the leaf to release its juice.

2. Wrap the cabbage in foil and place in the oven for several minutes to warm. Next, place the cabbage onto the painful area, cover with gauze or bandage and elevate the area.

3. Leave the cabbage compress to act for an hour, three times daily, each time with a new leaf. The improvements are felt the next day! If you want to apply a cold compress, refrigerate the cabbage before you begin the procedure.

4. Red cabbage is rich in anthocyanins (which are chemicals that alleviate joint pain and inflammation. Both, green and red cabbage types are extremely beneficial in the case of ulcers.

Please take note of the side effects caused by cabbage in such matter wherein allergies may take place though some cases rarely occur. However, if you experience swelling or itching, then you should remove the compress immediately and directly go to the doctor for consultation if the irritation gets complicated.
